Sam and Sol Europe Trip 201408 March 2015
The story of our trip to Europe in May/June 2014 was something I needed to write down. It's written in terms bike riders will understand and hopefully appreciate. The trials and tribulations of terrible weather conditions turning to beautiful sunny dry weather on the same day. We saw and experienced it all. The emotional trauma of seeing the Polish death camps and our families homes is something that will be with us always. It's not something one can just put behind them and move on as though it was just another ride. It was much more than that.

Motorcyclists will be allowed to legally ride between cars on NSW roads from July as part of new measures to ease traffic congestion.
The NSW government on Wednesday became the first state in Australia to legalise the practice of lane filtering following a successful two month trial.

Sydney Riders claim entrapment06 October 2013
Police who deliberately baited motorcyclists to break the law then fined them have been exposed in a recent court case, leading to a magistrate describing the police as ''reckless''.
The finding could pave the way for scores of other riders caught using similar tactics to reclaim demerit points and fines.
The operation featured in the case took place on September 16 and 23 last year in a section of the Old Pacific Highway between Mount White and Brooklyn. The Ku-ring-gai highway patrol issued 68 tickets, all to motorbike riders.

I test rode the bike i bought (Aprilia Caponord) back to back with Duc multistrada-S on same test route. I jotted down my my thoughts after the test but held off posting/buying as i wanted to compare with a 2013 Triumph Tiger Sport 1050. priced $14000 cheaper than a ducati! Unfortunately Peter Thievens took over Triumph dealership but wouldn't release any stock for test rides so i couldn't wait until October to test ride one.
