Cool day with light traffic. A small amount of drizzle in parts but mostly fine and dry. The Black Spur ride was especially good as we negotiated beautiful newly re-surfaced roads. Most of the bumpy damaged sections are now great grippy smooth tarmac.

By the time we reached Marysville the sun began to shine through.
