New York Ride for Victims of Terror

Chabad and other organisations annually bring Israeli victims of terror attacks to many countries like the U.S and Australia. Many are wounded soldiers and some civilians all injured (many severely) in terror attacks perpetrated against Israeli and Jewish targets. These sponsored visits give the victims a great opportunity to be treated to the sights and hospitality of various major tourist cities of the world by welcoming local Jewish communities. One of the annual events is the Victims of Terror ride in New York U.S.A where Jewish bike club members are called upon to take the injured visitors on a motorcycle ride into the delightful rural areas outside the bussling city of Manhattan and into the peaceful countryside. The ride is not a little short sprint but comprises a round trip of over 300kms. I was fortunate to be invited to come along on this ride by Lauren Secular of the Chai Riders of New York while visiting there at the same time.
