Evan, Graham and Richard did an overnight ride to Eastern victoria and NSW for the annual YOW Cup day ride.  First day (470km) was to Falls Creek via Bruthern, Omeo, and over the Bogong High plains rd,  It rained more on than off from Melbourne to Bairnsdate, then cleared and we didn't see rain again.  (It always rains on the Cup weekend ride!).  

The ride up the Tambo river to Anglers Rest is spectacular, Falls Creek was about 4 Deg but no snow, though still some dotting the hills.  Viking Lodge had some nice views across the valley.  See photos

Day-2 from Falls to Tallangatta on the recently sealed Omeo Hwy was superb.  We all agreed probably one of the best roads we've ever ridden, must go back.

Richard split off after lunch from Tallangatta back via Whitfield, Mansfield, Yea, Whittlesea.  Back about 6:30pm, 1060km

Evan and Graham continue to Bombala via Khankoban and Thredbo
