Arrive at Glicks early...7.00am. Fress there, or just have coffee. Buy some goodies to take with us for those who want to fress more later. We leave Glicks no later than 7.30am while the Xmas crowds are at home and the roads have very light traffic. It will be a hot day so we leave early and come home before the heat in time for lunch in Melbourne.

Wonderful ride. A nice bagel and coffee at Glicks and we were away by 7.45am The weather was still cool with very light car traffic. Roads were almost empty as we made our way into Ferntree Gully and up into the Damdenong Ranges through Olinda and surrounds. We stopped up high in a wooded forest area where we shmoozed for about 30 minutes and then headed off to the descent of Mt.Dandenong. More great roads.

We were home by a little after 10.30am well before the blistering 36 degree heat of the day.
