Plan:

YOW has received a request from the Chabad movement (Yeshivah) asking us to participate in their annual Chanukah Parade next Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

They apologise for the late notice but are hoping as many bikes as possible can be there to help add some unique flavour to the annual parade this year.

YOW has done this before in years gone by but often the organisers forget about the bikes. This year they remembered us and hoped we can participate in numbers.

We are requested to arrive at the Yeshivah College at about 7.15pm Wednesday. The front gate to the car park will be open to allow us to ride straight in at the Hotham Street entrance right where the Yeshivah Shul is situated.

They are hoping to have a large presence of cars with the bikes in the very front of the parade. Hopefully the weather cooperates but at this stage it's looking like a perfect day of 31 degrees and therefore a warm evening.

Would like as many of you as possible, members of YOW as well as non members who ride motorcycles or Scooters to join us in the parade.

The meeting point will be right outside the Kimberly Gardens Hotel at #441 Inkerman St. St.Kilda East just near the corner of Inkerman and Alexandra Streets. We will meet there at 7.00pm please. Leave as a group towards Hotham St. Turn left onto Hotham from Inkerman and then left into the Yeshivah driveway.

As traffic is always a problem there this is the best and safest way to arrive at the Yeshivah property, preferably as a complete group.

I would appreciate replies directly to me or on the YOW forum as to which of you will be coming. This will help the organisers to plan things. Please don't be slack...let us know if you are coming. Youcan email me direct... come@comeracing.com or call me on 0418303044 if you prefer or have questions.

The parade will take about 30-40 minutes of your time.

Sam
