Report:

What fabulous ride. Just over 1000kms in three days.

The Ride to Halls Gap in the Grampians, while straight Highways for most of the way, the last 100kms had numerous sweeping bends. Halls Gap. For those who have never set eye on it, May I make a suggestion that you do. A truely beautiful part of this state. It has Views, It has numerous walks, Rock Climbing for those inclined and another great road for motorcyclists going through to Hamilton. The second night we stayed at Warnambool. We didn't quite make it to Port Fairy. We ran out of time. The third day was the ride home along the Great Ocean Road. There are no words to describe this road that can do it justice. But rather than putting up with the ride back via Geelong Road and hitting peak Hour traffice over the westgate bridge, we decided to take the ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento. For our $35 crossing each, we had a fabulous show put on by the dolphins on a millpond surface. The it was home via the peninsula link.

We stopped at Apollo Bay for Morning Tea, Whilst there Josh brought a present for Graham. You can see what it is in the pic album. P.S Graham  will wear the sentiment with pride.
