Plan:

Weather this weekend is looking sunny but cool. There are some great roads in the Gippsland area and surrounds. If the rain holds off as is the prediction we should be in for a nice ride. Come for breakfast at our usual meeting point in Centre Rd. Cafe J'adore.

We will leave around 9.30am at the latest.

Anyone needing to ask me any more about the location please just call me on 0418303044

Look at the weather today and for tomorrow! Sundays ride will leave the coffee shop and proceed approximately as follows...

North Rd. to the M1 onto the #420 through Lynbrook, Cranbourne, Tooradin, Lang Lang, onto Westernport Rd. to Drouin-Poowong Rd. to Poowong. Onto the Poowong Rancby Rd. to the #425 the Warragul-Korumburra Rd. to Warragul. Home via the M1 past Packenham.

We'll make several stops for food-coffee and toilet breaks. Take advantage of the nice weather but dress warmly with layers for the earlier hours when it will be cold but sunny.

Report:

Was a very good ride today despite the winter chill. The sun was out so we at least had this to warm our bones. The group was full of a variety of bikes and riders were...

Wayne and Helene (BMW), Sergie (Triumph), Anthony (Honda), Volvi (Busa), Evan (Ducati), Matti (BMW), Assaf (VStrom) and myself. Gidion came with us down North Road and turned off for home. Sam Bornstein and Reuven came to visit before departure at the coffee shop.

We stopped several times along the way. Tooradin was the first stop then on to Lang Lang and all the good roads to eventually end up in the Warragul region. Home towards Melbourne and a quick lunch/snack break about 15 minutes after the Warragul turnoff. Home on the M1 where individuals peeled off as they needed.

I went all the way the Burke Rd. with Wayne and got home at 2.00pm with a total of about 260kms.

See you all next time.
