Weather this Sunday is looking too good not to ride somewhere. Although a great dry day to do the spurs, it is also the 2012 Pink Ribbon Ride. Not sure if YOW is officially supporting it this year, committee has been quiet, but anyway I’m going to do it as I think it’s a good cause and also a bit of fun. We’ll depart the café at 9:30 and ride to moto heaven on nepean highway where we pay and get the pink tags. Then we’ll be led to lorimer st port Melbourne to pick up a bigger group then a police escort to werribee. It’s also the melb marathon so will be a challenge dodging the road closures. I’m thinking that this year unless anything is dramatically different or lukey luke has new stunts, to have a quick look around then leave at 11:30 or so and ride via the Brisbane ranges to have lunch in steiglitz or Meredith, then back via mt Wallace , glenmore.
